crypt.pe started with a simple observation: crypto was built so two people could pay each other without an intermediary — and then the industry rebuilt the intermediary anyway. Custodial processors take custody of merchant funds, charge 1–2% for the privilege, hold payouts for days, and can freeze an account with an email.
We build the opposite: a payment gateway that is structurally incapable of touching your money. Your customers pay your wallet directly on-chain. crypt.pe renders the page, locks the amount, matches the transaction, and hands both sides a verifiable receipt — software around the payment, never in it.
I run hackastra, a discreet incident response service. When a company's systems are compromised, or their data is leaking, or someone's impersonating their executives at 3am — I'm the person they call. My clients aren't in one country. They're wherever the incident is, which means everywhere: the US, Europe, the Gulf, Southeast Asia, wherever the next breach happens to land.
That global client base is the whole point of the business. It's also what made getting paid genuinely difficult. A client's bank flags an unfamiliar cross-border transfer and holds it. My bank flags an incoming payment from a country it doesn't recognize as routine. Sometimes both. More than once, the actual fix was a phone call — me on the line with my bank, the client on the line with theirs, both of us trying to convince two institutions that a legitimate transaction was, in fact, legitimate. For a business built on speed — median response time under five minutes — spending two days untangling a wire transfer was its own kind of absurd.
So I started accepting crypto. It solved the banking problem immediately — and created a new, smaller one: every payment needed a conversation first. Which coin? Let me send an address. Here's a QR over chat. Did it go through? Let me check the block explorer. I was manually playing payment processor for every transaction, on top of the actual work.
I looked for a proper gateway that was non-custodial — because handing my clients' payments through yet another intermediary defeated the point of using crypto in the first place. I couldn't find one built the way I needed it. So I built crypt.pe. One link; a client pays in whatever coin they're holding; the funds land directly in my wallet on-chain; invoicing and bookkeeping happen automatically. The one thing it never does is hold the money — for the same reason discretion matters in incident response: I don't keep what isn't mine to keep, and neither does the tool I use to get paid.

never touch the money
Payments settle wallet-to-wallet on public blockchains. We hold no balances, run no pooled wallet and never ask for a private key or seed phrase. There is nothing here to freeze, lose or run away with — by architecture, not by promise.
charge for software, not revenue
Processors take a percentage of every sale because they sit in the money flow. We don't sit there, so we can't — and wouldn't. crypt.pe is priced like software: a free tier and flat plans, 0% per transaction, forever.
work everywhere by default
A merchant in Lagos, Lisbon or Lahore gets the same product. Because settlement is on-chain to your own wallet, there is no country list, no bank partnership gating access and no account that can be closed over geography.

We take 0% of your payments because we never handle them. Our incentive is simple: the product has to be worth its subscription every single month, or you cancel and lose nothing — your funds were always in your own wallet.
