How CRYPT.PE works.

CRYPT.PE gives you a public payment page at crypt.pe/yourname. You put your wallet addresses on it once. Anyone in the world can open it, scan a QR code, and send you crypto — Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, USDT and 20+ more — directly to your wallet, from any country, with no bank account, no sign-up for the payer, and no company sitting between you and your money.

On top of that page you get: exact-amount invoices priced in your local currency, automatic payment detection and receipts, a real-time dashboard, and a developer API. But the core idea stays the same everywhere: we route information, never money.

The single most important thing to understand about CRYPT.PE:

There is no "CRYPT.PE balance", no platform wallet, no withdrawal button — because your money is never here. It goes from the payer's wallet to yours in one hop, on-chain. That means:

• ✓ Nothing to freeze. We couldn't hold your payout even if ordered to — we never have it.
• ✓ Nothing to withdraw. Funds are already in your wallet the moment the payment confirms.
• ✓ Nothing lost if we vanish. If CRYPT.PE shut down tomorrow, every coin you ever received stays exactly where it is — in your wallet.

What CRYPT.PE stores: your email, your public wallet addresses (the same ones you'd print on an invoice), and your payment history metadata. That's it.

What we never store or ask for: private keys, seed phrases, exchange logins, or custody of any funds. Your public address lets people send you money — it can never be used to take it.

"What if my CRYPT.PE account gets hacked?" The worst an attacker could do is change the addresses displayed on your page — they can't touch funds you've already received. We still defend the account hard: two-factor authentication (TOTP), email verification, and email alerts on wallet changes. Enable 2FA in settings — it takes a minute.

"How do I know a payment is real?" Every payment we show links to the transaction on a public block explorer (Etherscan, Solscan, Mempool…). You never have to trust our word — you can verify every satoshi independently, forever.

CRYPT.PE never connects to, unlocks, or controls your wallet — we only display an address you paste in. So any wallet works: mobile apps, browser extensions, hardware wallets, even a paper wallet. Popular choices per network:

13 network families, 25+ coins — and for maximum security, hardware wallets (Ledger, Trezor) work perfectly: paste your hardware wallet's receive address and payments go straight to cold storage.

Your page shows your name, bio, photo, and a coin picker. When a visitor selects a coin they see your address and a QR code that opens directly in their wallet app. It works for both open amounts (tips, donations — payer chooses how much) and exact invoices (next section).

• → Products: sell fixed-price items with their own shareable pages.

From the dashboard's invoice tab, type an amount in your local currency — dollars, euros, rupees, whatever you set — pick a coin, and get a link + QR. The payer sees the exact crypto amount quoted at the live exchange rate, so "₹5,000" becomes "0.0021 ETH" without you doing any math.

We watch the blockchain for you. Ethereum-family payments typically confirm here in seconds (webhooks); Bitcoin, Solana and Tron within a minute or two. And if a payer just hit send and can't wait, the invoice page has an "already sent? paste your tx hash" box — we fetch that exact transaction on-chain and confirm it near-instantly.

Every confirmed payment produces a permanent receipt page at crypt.pe/r/<tx> with the amount, time, and a link to the transaction on a public block explorer. Send it to clients as proof, keep it for your books — it verifies itself forever.
