what 0%
actually means.
"0%" is our platform transaction fee — crypt.pe never takes a cut of a payment. But a skeptical merchant should ask what else could cost money. Here is the complete list, including the fees that exist on every crypto payment and don't go to us.
crypt.pe transaction fee
We take no percentage of any payment, ever. Not on payment pages, invoices, storefronts, subscriptions or the gateway API. Paid plans unlock tools — never a cut of your money.
network (gas) fee
Every on-chain transaction pays a fee to the blockchain's miners or validators — from under $0.01 on Solana or Tron to a few dollars on Ethereum mainnet at busy times. This fee exists on every crypto payment anywhere; none of it goes to crypt.pe. Usually the payer covers it as part of sending.
conversion spread
We never convert your money, so there is no hidden exchange spread. The exact coins your customer sends are the coins that arrive in your wallet. If you want fiat, you swap on your own terms at an exchange of your choice.
plan fees (optional)
The free tier is free forever. Paid plans are flat subscriptions that unlock more tools (gateway API, higher limits, analytics) — see the pricing page for exactly what each includes. Plans never take a percentage.
invoice / product / payout fees
No per-invoice fee, no per-product fee, no payout or withdrawal fee — there's no platform balance to withdraw from. Payments settle wallet-to-wallet, so the money is already yours the moment it confirms.
cryptocard fees
Cryptocard is in development (waitlist). A card program involves regulated issuing partners and conversion at top-up, so its fee schedule will be published transparently before anyone pays anything.
Crypto payments received are income like any other: you remain responsible for local tax and compliance obligations in your jurisdiction. crypt.pe is available wherever direct wallet-to-wallet payments are permitted — check your local rules. Exports and receipts in your dashboard are built to make reporting easy.
